Our clamps will take a great deal of abuse. However, like any fine product, the user must exercise reasonable care in their use. The following are some helpful hints to assure a long and useful life. |
1: USE THE PROPER SIZE CLAMP FOR YOUR APPLICATION... there are six different sizes available. |
2: USE DURALOK™ OR FINGER TIGHTENING ONLY... our clamp is designed to eliminate the need for any other tightening tools. |
3: HANDLE OUR CLAMP WITH CARE...severe shock may shorten its life. |
4: CLAMP THE LOAD PROPERLY...odd shapes may cause excessive clamp misalignment and possible damage to the clamp. |
5: IF THE LOAD IS EXTEMELY HEAVY, LET THE RACK SUPPORT THE LOAD AND USE THE CLAMP FOR A POSITIVE ELECTRICAL CONNECTION...a light hollow extrusion could become a heavy load when filled with solution. |
6: OUR CLAMPS CAN BE EXPOSED TO TEMPERATURES UP TO 212 DEGREES F (100 DEGREES C). |
7: OUR CLAMPS ARE IMPERVIOUS TO ALL ANODIZING AND PLATING CHEMICALS...petroleum solvents utilized in certain degreasing processes may cause a softening of the plastic resulting in clamp distortion. |
